1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is Jamie Kroll, operating Intern in Asia as a sole proprietorship based in Switzerland. Contact: hello@interninasia.com.

2. Data we collect

• Email address and phone number you submit via the waitlist or Day 1 form.
• Payment information processed by our payment provider (we never see full card details).
• Basic analytics: page views, referrer, device type, coarse location, UTM parameters.
• Technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process data to deliver the product you paid for, respond to your inquiries, send the resources you requested, comply with Swiss and EU accounting/tax obligations, and improve the site. Legal basis: performance of a contract, legitimate interest, and consent where required (FADP / GDPR Art. 6(1)(a),(b),(c),(f)).

4. Processors and recipients

We use third-party processors to run the site: hosting and database (Supabase / Lovable Cloud), email delivery, and payment processing. These providers act as processors under a data processing agreement and may store data outside Switzerland (EU/US) with adequate safeguards.

5. Retention

Marketing signups are kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for 10 years for accounting purposes as required by Swiss law. Server logs are kept up to 90 days.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing at any time by writing to hello@interninasia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss FDPIC or your local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies and privacy-friendly analytics that do not require consent under Swiss law. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
